From Gabrovo to Ashburton

Marnie and I (Lucy) just met up for coffee in my home suburb of Ashburton (as in where I grew up, not where I live), where I've been staying for a few days meeting my new baby nephew Benji. I loved making the bridge between Gabrovo and here... two worlds that seem very far apart and are now next door. We took a photo of us with a Gabrovo map scarf and laughed at our memories of ASSiST. It's amazing the different perspective we all have and take away with us!... I mean, not really amazing, but…See More

Entry requirements for Australians: Australians do not need a visa to visit Bulgaria for a period of up to 90 days within a six-month period. A passport valid for at least three months after entry is required.

Hey Lucy, I work 9-5 weekdays and could meet up after work or am happy to come into Freo on the weekend. I'm going skiing the second week of August back for three days then flying to Bulgaria on the 18th August. Saw Sarah Nelson in the distance when I had lunch on High St today, small world....or small town!

Well good luck with your funding, just got confirmation of funding for my flights on Thursday which was a relief. Haven't made contact with Alisa but may do now, maybe we should all meet for a coffee in the coming weeks?

Hi Lucy,
Yeah a small world indeed, I work in Fremantle just down from the left bank. Was quite surprised to see there was someone else from Perth too. Tis getting close now! Must admit to feeling a bit nervous if I think on it too long.
